Reinstating the military draft in the United States is being discussed in light of the war against terrorism and military conflict in the Middle East. However, reinstating the military draft in the United States would open a Pandora's box. Since American women have achieved equality in many previously exclusive male bastions, how can they reasonably be exempted this time around? Would women in the military draft be acceptable in America now?
