The code of federal regulations imposes responsibility upon big business. However, the corporate community, hungry for runaway profits, is now pressuring Republican politicians for deregulation. This rescinding of the code of federal regulations is dangerous because many CEO's and executives operate as if they were part of gangster organized crime. They lie, cheat, steal, con and commit fraud. Unjustified exorbitant prices are charged. Air and waterways are adulterated with industrial waste. Unsafe products are knowingly manufactured. OSHA safety regulations are rebuked. And, worthless commodities are peddled. 'Corruption-an incuarable disease' is the bi-word for deregulated business.
