In the past, Democratic administra- tions had to check errant industries with health, saftey, polution and pricing controls for the well-being of the public. Today, slashing these government regulations for business inorder to increase profits is a pet project of the Republican Party. Their candidates will be richly rewarded, but America's health, environment and cost of living concerns will be compromised.
